The Path of the Immigrant walk begins
Participants in The Path of the Immigrant/El Camino del Inmigrante began their walk yesterday. Pilgrims walked 8 miles from the U.S. border with Mexico to the ocean at Imperial Brach, Calif. It was a powerful day that featured stories of immigrants who had lost their lives crossing the border in an attempt to create a better life for themselves and their families.
