Hee-Soo Jung

Bishop Hee-Soo Jung is bishop of the United Methodist Church, North Central Jurisdiction, Wisconsin Episcopal Area. He is also president of the General Board of Global Ministries, and the United Methodist Church Korean Ministry Plan. Jung is a former board chair of the United Methodist Committee on Relief and former vice president of JustPeace. He served eight years as Bishop of the Northern Illinois Conference, and has served congregations in Wisconsin, California, and Texas since his family moved from Korea to the United States in 1982. Jung is former chair of the department of religion and philosophy at Kangnam University and Seminary and former member of the General Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns.
