Heather Valentine joined Bread for the World in September 2018 as the Director of Government Relations. Previously a House Republican Conference staffer, she also served as a press secretary for Speaker John Boehner and the House Education and the Workforce Committee.
Heather also served as the Vice President for Government Relations and Communications at the Council for Opportunity in Education and as a Federal Lobbyist for the National Education Association.
A graduate of the University of Florida, Heather has been named a rising star by National Journal and a top lobbyist by the Hill newspaper.
