David Miner

Bio:

Dave Miner is a hunger activist from Indianapolis. He leads Bread for the World activities in Indiana, including the development of new advocates.

Miner helmed production of The Working Hungry, a 30-minute documentary about hunger in Indiana, and more recently a 30′ sequel called Food, Insecure. He has led efforts to increase the number of living wage jobs in Indianapolis.

Miner has been a grassroots activist for four decades. He was founding board chair of Indy Hunger Network and volunteer executive director of the Interfaith Hunger Initiative. He retired from a senior executive role for Elanco animal health after 28 years with Eli Lilly.

Miner is a member of Bread’s New Century Council. In a previous term on Bread’s Board of Directors, Miner served as Board Chair. He has also served as Board Chair for the Alliance to End Hunger. Miner is Christian Church (Disciples). Indianapolis, Indiana.
