David Husby is director of Covenant World Relief, the Evangelical Covenant Church’s humanitarian aid ministry responsible for disaster relief and transformational community development worldwide. The Evangelical Covenant Church is a long-time partner with Bread for the World. In more than 25 years with the Evangelical Covenant Church, Husby has provided leadership in pastoral care, staff development, church organization, strategic planning, and facilitating collaboration among partners in economic development projects. He formerly served as Asia regional coordinator for the Department of World Mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church and as a missionary in Japan. Husby holds a Master’s of Divinity from Regent College. Husby is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
